삶을 위한 연극 워크숍

본 워크숍은 ‘형평’과 ‘포용’ 그리고 ‘다양성’을 주제로 일반 시민을 대상으로 한다. ‘삶을 위한 연극(Theatre for Living)’은 캐나다 밴쿠버에 위치한 유서 깊은 극단으로 이곳의 설립자인 데이비드 다이아몬드(David Diamond)
는 40년 이상 커뮤니티 기반 응용(시민) 연극(Applied Theatre) 작업을 지속해 왔으며, 현재도 캐나다 및 북미, 유럽 전역을 순회하며 건강한 공동체 만들기 작업을 지속해 오고 있다.

본 워크숍에서는 삶을 위한 연극에서 주요한 기법으로 활용되는 ‘이미지 연극(Image Theatre)’과 ‘포럼 연극(Forum Theatre)’을 중점으로 참여자가 자기 삶에서 마주했던 일상의 담장을 마주하고 그 한계의 원인을 안전한 틀 거리 안에서 논의하고 연대할 수 있는 예술적 방법론을 제시한다.

Under the theme of Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity, this workshop is open to the general public. "Theater for Living" is a historic theater company located in Vancouver, Canada, and its founder, David Diamond, has been working on a community-based "Applied Theatre" for more than 40 years and continues to create healthy communities in Canada, North America, and Europe.

Focusing on 'Image Theatre' and 'Forum Theatre', which are used as major techniques in plays for life, this workshop presents an artistic methodology that allows participants to face the walls of their daily lives and discuss and unite the causes of their limitations within a safe framework.
