글로벌 그루브 무브먼트 랭기지(Global Groove Movement Language)는 세계 각국의 문자언어를 시각적 이미지로 활용해 다양한 방식으로 탐구해보고 느낌과 형태, 색을 움직임으로 표현 해본다. 백남준은 글로벌 그루브(Global Groove) 작품을 통해 영상매체를 비언어적 소통매체인 춤과 음악을 통해 흑백 논리(백인/흑인, 동양/서양, 기성세대/ 젊은세대)의 한계를 극복하고 소통의 통로로 사용하고자 했다. 글로벌 그루브(Global Groove)에 나오는 다양한 문화권의 비언어(움직임)을 문자언어의 표현을 통해 어떻게 소통할 수 있을까?

The Global Groove Movement Language uses textual languages from around the world as visual images to explore them in various ways and express feelings, forms, and colors in motion. Through his Global Groove work, Paik Nam-June sought to use video media as a channel for communication through dance and music, a nonverbal communication medium, overcoming the limitations of black-and-white logic (white/black, Eastern/Western, older/ younger generations). How can we communicate the non-verbal language (movement) of various cultures in Global Groove through the expression of textual language?
